CRM & field operations / by Toughjobs

One clear record.
From office to jobsite.

The Toughjobs CRM for organizing clients, jobs, dispatch, estimates, and invoices around the way a trade business works. Give the office and the crew a shared view of what needs to happen next.

Built around the work.
Not another thing to manage.

For trade & home-service businesses
Availability: In active development. Client, job, financial-document, dispatch, technician-day, and company-branding workflows have been tested locally. Full production acceptance and client rollout are still pending.
The problem it solves

The job should not live in five different places.

A customer name in a phone, a schedule on paper, and a quote in an inbox leave the next person guessing. Workhorse brings the operational record together so a business owner can see the job and an assigned technician can see the work they need.

A good fit for

Home-service owners and field teams that need clearer job ownership, consistent records, and fewer disconnected spreadsheets.

The workflow

Where Workhorse earns its place.

  1. Build the client record

Keep client and service details together. Prepare the job with the right address, scope, notes, and responsible person.

  2. Organize the day

Use the owner dispatch view and technician My Day to see dated work and assigned jobs. Company time-zone settings keep the operating day consistent.

  3. Carry the work forward

Maintain the job record alongside estimates and invoices. Review details before approving documents or taking any provider-dependent payment action.

What to confirm before setup: Homeowner portals, provider payments, accounting sync, automatic messaging, conflict-aware availability, and cross-product automation are not all launch-ready. Confirm the exact pilot scope; this is not a promise of parity with every competing CRM.

An example, not a customer claim

A returning customer should not feel like a new lead.

Illustrative workflow: a plumbing customer calls about a previous repair. The office locates the client record, reviews the job context, and schedules the next visit. The assigned technician opens My Day and sees the job. Job notes and financial records remain tied to the work instead of being scattered through personal messages.

The practical benefit

Less hunting for context, clearer assignments, and a better handoff between office and field.

Part of your marketing process

A useful tool.
Not an isolated purchase.

Track missing job details, office re-entry time, assignment errors, estimate follow-up, and invoice status. Verify improvements against your own baseline.

Straight answers

Before you put it to work.

Can I replace my current CRM immediately?

Start with a workflow review and a bounded pilot. We confirm migration, permissions, backups, day-to-day tasks, and recovery before recommending any cutover.

Can my technicians use it on a phone?

The technician My Day experience has been tested on mobile layouts using assigned-job access. Your own crew, devices, and operating workflow still need pilot verification.

Are the six products automatically connected?

No. The marketing tool directory is not an active integration. Each data handoff, permission, provider connection, and automation must be explicitly configured and tested.
